We are going to the West End tonight to celebrate Fat Tuesday with a friend of ours. We have never gone, so I am looking forward to it. Of course, it won't be near as wild as New Orleans during Mardi Gras week, but its the closest thing we've got!

About the event
The West End Association presents the second annual Mardi Gras Parade celebrating Fat Tuesday. The party begins at 6 p.m. and continues after the parade until midnight at the corner of Market and Munger, with live music, dancing and food.
Parade Route
The parade rolls from the corner of Houston and Continental, going south on Houston, turns left on Ross, then left on Market to Munger, turns left on Record back to Ross.
