I went with Shelby to her first birthing class tonight at the hospital. It was pretty cool. They showed a video from the 80's of live births, and the teacher said as she pushed play, "You might see some strange looking women in this video since it is old." Well, of course, the first thing that popped in my mind as to why they would look strange was because they would have a big ol bush - not because they would have 80's hair. Turns out that is what popped in Shelby's mind too. Oh, and watching that baby come outta there - damn! that shit looked so freakin painful...i don't think i could do that. Oh, and the teacher kept saying, "Sauntimeters" instead of Centimeters. WTF? It was even more strange when i heard her say Centimeters 3 times in a row and then all of the sudden started saying "Sauntimeters" again. Strange....very strange.
