I always hate it when I hear people say about thier spouse, "We've never spent a night apart" or "We've only spent x nights apart from each other in xx years". It makes me roll my eyes. So what? What does that mean? It means to me that you are possibly no longer an individual because you no longer do things by yourself, away from your spouse. Just as others think that its just as important to always be with their spouse, I think it is important to go and do without your spouse too. So, if you are one of those who doesn't think like me, don't take my comments here personal. I just don't understand it. I love my husband, and I love spending time with him. But just because we have (and I'm sure we will) spend nights away from each other doesn't mean that those who haven't done so have a better relationship with their spouse than I do with mine. I love my husband and I love spending time with him. I guess I just don't get the point of boasting about "how we've never been apart". It doesn't mean anything. Okay...why did I start this post? Oh yea. My husband is in Canada and I miss him.
